Tile Flashing Kits for weather proofing
The flashing kit is used on tiled roofs. The tile is removed and the mast is fixed onto the roof rafter. The tile is cut out and passed through the masts post. To weather proof the mast installation, the flashing kit EPDM boot passes through mast onto the tile area.
At times installers tend to use silicone to cover the hole cut through the tile, this is not always a guaranteed weather proof seal.
The flashing kit gives a clean seal with a professional finish.
